How long would it take?

Six questions and you get the whole journey: how long your target takes at the pace the app would start you at, where the flat weeks tend to fall, and what the plan it builds would be made of. Nothing here is a promise — it is an estimate, worked out the same way the plan itself is.

The six answers

Nothing is stored and no account is created. The numbers stay in your own session, for your plan if you make one.

It feeds the resting metabolic rate estimate, and the 18-and-over line.

Used only for the estimate. Prefer not to say averages the two.

The app holds the pace it starts you at, so a lower target takes longer rather than going faster.

Training and everything outside it. Over-estimating is the direction the app recovers from.

Estimated in a second. No account, no email, nothing stored on the server.

What the estimate is, and what it is not

  • It is the same arithmetic the app uses to build a plan: an estimated maintenance figure for your body, a modest deficit under it, and the pace the app would start you at.
  • It is a projection, not a promise. Real weeks are not a straight line, which is why the drawing has flat parts in it — two of them, where the plan has stopped being new and the scale has stopped cooperating.
  • It comes with the answer for what happens in those weeks: a check of the week you actually had, then the tape measure, then one question, and then one change proposed with its reasoning attached.
  • It asks nothing about your training, your equipment or your experience, because none of those change how long the fat takes to come off — they change what you look like and what you can do at the end of it.
